Our Wesley community is getting geared up for EasterFest 2019: Unconditionally. Our theme is centered on God's love being unconditional of our circumstances and experiences. God created each person on earth and desires to be in relationship with each of us.
The Wesley Foundation at FSU & TCC is raising money and awareness for the Trevor Project. It is an American non-profit organization founded in 1998 focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth. Through a toll-free telephone number, it operates The Trevor Lifeline, a confidential service that offers trained counselors. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among young people ages 10 to 24. LGBTQ+ youth seriously contemplate suicide at almost three times the rate of heterosexual youth. I believe that God values all life and that all people have sacred worth.
Please support our EasterFest fundraising by donating to our efforts through our staff and student support pages. Or you can ever create your own fundraising page to how your support as well and ask your family and friends to support this suicide prevention organization.
Everyone is invited to the Wesley Foundation for EasterFest 2019 on Sunday, April 21 at 11:00am. We will have a celebration of worship, a free lunch, and fun activities to enjoy after lunch. Our entire offering during EasterFest will go towards our fundraising for the Trevor Project. It is the biggest party of the year as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus!
If you have any questions, please contact our campus minister, Mike Toluba, at 850-222-0251 or email email@example.com
